Ian is responsible for developing and executing an aggressive digital ROI focused business strategy for both profitable growth and increasing Cambria Automotive market share in the automotive retail sector, whilst effectively integrating online with the core business.
Ian is passionate about evangelising the business benefits of e-enablement and championing cultural change by shifting mindsets and working practices so that the operational model is e-business enabled and an “e-mind” set is business as usual.
Phill runs eBay Motors Group, a business launched in January 2020, to offer a new and cost-effective way for dealers to Advertise Smarter by reaching millions of buyers throughout their journeys across eBay, Gumtree and Motors.co.uk and its network of sites. Phill was previously Managing Director of Motors.co.uk and transitioned as part of the acquisition by eBay Classifieds Group in 2019. He has 12 years’ experience in the online classified markets and qualified as a Chartered Accountant.
Al has held senior executive roles with Ferrari, Maserati and the SMMT. Al started his career as a journalist and presenter with a decade working for the BBC and in commercial radio. He has a particular interest in the application of digital technology and connected car services in the automotive industry and regularly speaks at, and chairs events on, these issues.
Entering the industry just over 2 years ago following roles in leading Digital Marketing agencies in London, Sam joined Luscombe’s Leeds, the family run Suzuki and Mitsubishi dealership as Business Innovation and Development Manager. With oversight on marketing and digital innovation, Sam overhauled Luscombe’s digital proposition with a new website and online sales model which instantly paid dividends with the fast pace of change witnessed following the Covid outbreak.
Since June 2020 when Luscombe’s took on the MG franchise for Leeds, Sam has also assumed the role of Dealer Principal for the MG site and helped drive the growth in EV sales which accounted for over 65% of the site’s 500+ new MG registrations in the first year of trading.
Philip has over 20 years marketing leadership experience working in the automotive retail industry, across multiple manufacturer brands with Pendragon plc, Leadley, Inchcape plc, Ridgeway and Marshall Motor Holdings plc.
Philip heads up marketing for Marshall Motor Group – one of the UK’s largest motor dealer groups and winner of 25 digital marketing industry accolades since 2015! The business runs 115 franchise dealerships and representing 22 brands across 29 counties. Turnover is in excess of £2.2bn per annum and regularly come top in national colleague and customer survey reviews.
