About the Speakers: 

Agnieszka Ason 

Agnieszka is an Honorary Lecturer at Queen Mary University of London, CEDR Accredited Mediator, and an experienced professional in international energy contract negotiation and disputes. With a background in top-tier energy and arbitration practices across Berlin, London, and Singapore, she has provided legal counsel and expertise in major gas and LNG price review arbitrations in Europe and Asia. Agnieszka has also recently founded Ason Energy, her own consultancy. 

Mohamed (Yahya) Mahayni 

Mohamed (Yahya) Mahayni is a dual-qualified solicitor (England & Wales) and avocat (Paris Bar). With six years at White & Case LLP in London, Paris, and Hong Kong, he gained extensive experience in international arbitrations as counsel and tribunal secretary. His focus is advising lead counsel on international arbitration theory and practice. Additionally, he has been involved in developing and teaching the Queen Mary Online LLM program.

Mohamed (Yahya) Mahayni is a dual-qualified solicitor (England & Wales) and avocat (Paris Bar). With six years at White & Case LLP in London, Paris, and Hong Kong, he gained extensive experience in international arbitrations as counsel and tribunal secretary. As an independent practitioner, he advises lead counsel on international arbitration theory and practice. He helped develop the Queen Mary Online LLM and has been teaching it since its inception.
