As the fallout from Grenfell continues to shape the fire industry, this webinar will focus on safety and fire detection in tall buildings.

With “Waking Watch” introduced as an interim measure, how best to protect property, quickly and effectively in the longer term.  A recent analysis, published by Gov.uk, documents that “Waking Watch” is costing a “mean” average of £20,443, per month, per building in London, currently around £145 million per year jus for the capital.

This webinar will examine:

• The use of wireless technology which, in a few years, has moved from a niche solution for historic buildings, to a real answer in having protection in place quickly and effectively in any building.
• How to build on an existing fire system infrastructure, that may be inadequate, but could be the basis of providing an enhanced solution. All at a cost far less than “Waking Watch” is costing, with all the added benefits of technology.
• What about connectivity with buildings - how might that augment safety?

We also examine the increased use of “Smart Services” what are they and what do they offer. How building managers and users can benefit from “instant” information, as well as how third party “non-fire” products and systems might be integrated offering real value. These “Smart Services” have now arrived at SME levels where communications technology has not reached, until now.
