Event details

As the concept of ESG has matured, the relative focus between the three elements (Environmental, Social and Governance) has shifted, with environmental impacts and measures coming to the fore. There is now a push for more priority to be given to the social aspects, such as people and their health, safety, and wellbeing. When you consider that the ILO* estimates that 2.3 million people succumb to work related accidents or diseases every year, you can understand why.

Many companies’ global ESG priorities have evolved and now include social justice and the future of work alongside zero carbon commitments. This shift, combined with the recent ILO declaration that a safe and healthy work environment is a fundamental human right, has meant we have started to see the balance being redressed. These developments create more opportunities for EHS leaders to demonstrate the contributions our profession can make to ESG.

This webinar will explore the links between ESG, Sustainability, People and their health, safety, and well-being, and will highlight how you can influence the future in your business through People Sustainability within the larger Sustainability and ESG agendas.’
