As the cost to heat and power homes continues to cripple millions, in this webinar we are delighted to be joined by Matt Copeland, Head of Policy and Public Affairs, NEA. Matt will take a closer look at the NEA's 'Fuel Poverty by Constituency Map' statistics, and highlight policy recommendations to better support residents in need. Putting insightes into action, Nick Davies from Switchee and Ellie Kuitunen from Manchester City Council will share a case study of how they used data to help educate and change resident behaviours following the installation of Heat Pumps.

Jenny is responsible for the coordination of DIN’s specialist networks PIN (Proptech Innovation Network) and IAN (Intelligent Automation Network) in addition to supporting DINLabs and member relations.

For over 25 years Jenny Danson has been leading transformational change and service improvement in CEO, COO, Executive Director and Programme roles. She has worked for companies of all shapes and sizes, from startups to multinational brands including BAA plc, Boots Opticians, Lovell, Ilke Homes, Fortem, and a number of Councils and Housing Associations

In 2017 Jenny founded Danery, which provides capacity and capability to support organisations in delivering service improvement and transformation and in 2018 joined Ian as an associate with DIN.

Jenny is a qualified executive coach, a NED with Aspire Housing and a strategic advisor to two technology companies.

Matt is the Head of Policy and Public affairs at National Energy Action, having worked there for over four years. His work to ensure that the energy market results in affordable energy for low income households has included working with the Government and Regulator to shape the response to the current energy crisis, and before that, helping to design schemes such as the Warm Home Discount. He also works to ensure that there is a fair and affordable transition to net zero, campaigning for the UK Government to increase the funding available for schemes to provide grants to low income households to make their homes more energy efficient.

Nick Davies is the Commercial Lead for Switchee in the UK and Europe. With a BSc in Geology and Environmental Studies, Nick spent his early career in the energy industry. Using those experiences, Nick has pursued a social purpose, within the Housing and Education sectors delivering IoT, Predictive Analytics and Data led solutions. These solutions enable insights and data driven decision making, to the benefit of the organisation and the end user.

Dr Ellie Kuitunen is a new member of the Strategic Housing Team at Manchester City Council, with a focus on getting Manchester housing to zero carbon by 2038. Ellie is a people-focused scientist with a background in energy infrastructure design and major project delivery. She combines her 15 years of experience in consultancy and academia to deliver system change for home retrofit.
